James Vivian is a Melbourne-based skin specialist and the founder of his eponymous skincare clinic, James Vivian. His path into beauty was unconventional: from music into part-time work at Aesop, where a fascination with skincare took hold, then becoming the first male to complete a Diploma in Beauty Therapy at Elly Lukas, followed by a Health Science degree to ground his work in the skin and all its wonder. James’ clinic is defined by its art as much as its treatments, and attracts a clientele that ranges from people who have never let anyone touch their skin to those who have tried every clinic.

James is a multiple winner at the Australian Beauty Industry Awards, including Australian Skin Clinic of the Year, Best Director, and Victorian Clinic of the Year three years running. He delivered a keynote to the Australian Beauty Industry Council on inclusivity and speaks regularly on B2B panels.
